ClimbHI is on the move!

On April 25th 2012 ClimbHI and Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) will launch the inaugural LEI (Lead, Expose, Inspire) exposure event with Hawaii’s local tourist and hospitality industry for workforce development. 300 of Hawaii’s high school students on Oahu from economically challenged backgrounds will spend a day learning about the hospitality industry and realizing the value of graduating from high school and going on to a post-secondary education. They will meet, learn, and experience job opportunities that the hospitality industry can provide. Students will also receive exposure on filling out job/college applications, resumes, and personal finance. Partners for this event include: Roberts Hawaii, Alu Like, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, The Kahala Hotel & Resort, The Modern Honolulu, Ilikai Hotel & Suites, Hyatt Waikiki, Castle Resorts & Hotels, Expedia Inc., Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., and E Noa Corporation.
