Richard loves to travel. And with that passion for travel, he is currently pursuing his BSBA in Hospitality Management at Hawaii Pacific University. Being a part of Waipahu High School’s AOHT (Academy of Hospitality and Tourism) during his High School career and then transitioning into a military career right after is what made him realize his passion for travel. Serving as one of ClimbHI’s 2017 interns, he plans to use this experience as a way to better his mindset within the Travel industry while at the same time doing his best in passing over the same passion he has for travel onto future generations. Along with his love for travel, Richard loves the outdoors, enjoys a challenge, and finds excitement in meeting new people. Richard is expected to graduate in the spring of 2018 and upon graduation he plans to move back to Arizona in pursuit of his dream of one day working within the corporate side of a major hotel franchise. Richard is looking forward to giving his all in making this year’s LEI program, one to remember.
